November 9, 2015

Wrestling season is upon us and we're excited to be sending our first regular season update. The team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday to compete in the John Carroll Duals. Most of the team traveled and while a number of guys competed in our four duals, the remaining guys competed in exhibition bouts.

The team went 4-0 on the day, winning 31 of the 40 matches. Of the 9 matches that we lost, 3 were forfeits, 1 was an injury default and 1 was a defensive fall. The guys wrestled very well and looked to score early. Although we're excited about a 4-0 start, the guys understand that it's the first week of November and our main goals are still in progress. We'll be back in action next Saturday at the Washington and Jefferson Invitational and hope to see everyone in their Cardinal gear!

Jaylen Hill (0-1 exhibition match, injury default)
