Re: Division 1 Wrestlers

I just went through this process with my son. We had a D1 official visit and he was recruited by several schools from D1 to NWCA club wrestling. Knowing he's not likely to turn wrestling into a profession or make the Olympics, maybe the best choice is the best financial package and best fit. He cou...

Re: Controversial Matches

I can’t wrestle and I sure couldn’t officiate a match. I admire all that do these two things.

I do see all from the 22nd row. None of it is relevant.

Re: Braxton Amos

Thank you Jenny for those stats! You do great work! I think Tim Amos explained that Braxton has given up escape points in order to push the pace and check an opponent’s conditioning. Braxton likes to set up 5 point or pinning moves from his feet also. He did not give up a takedown, reversal or offen...

Gator... you are the best!! Love people who are very humble and I always enjoyed talking with you and all the South fans. My bad then gator, I thought the discussion was best complete team...feel free to remove 1st post then Free discussion, the 88 Big Red team was really good. I remember them well. Re: Record Breaking South

Anyone old enough would have to throw in the 88 PHS team...Only 13 weight classes then, 8 in finals with 6 champs and 12 out of 13 weights placed in top 5 - All 3 teams you could argue from different angles which one was the best They were good but I thought we were talking about point record teams?

Re: Record Breaking South

Interestingly, I mentioned this South team being the best to one of older gentlemen, who was a South fan, at the Pullman on Friday morning and he said he thought the South team in 95 that had eleven finalist was just as good, if not better. I was not around WV in 95, but is there anyone who can off...

Re: Record Breaking South

Congratulations to Parkersburg South in their record breaking year. Although I have not witnessed all of South's teams, I went on records earlier in the season (with friends) that this was the best South team I have ever seen. Once again, the numbers back up ole Bear's BS. :) Interestingly, I menti...
