How will the scholarship limit increase/roster limit affect WVU? WVU can now award up to 30 scholarships a year. The limit was previously 9.9. The roster will now be limited to 30 wrestlers and according to Flo WVU currently has 37 wrestlers on the roster.

Very interesting rules. I think it will be hard to follow at first for anyone who is already a wrestling fan.

I like the rule change and thought it helped speed up college matches. We will see a lot more tech falls.

You sure this isnt a scam? I would think a WVU NIL wrestling club would at least have a picture of a current wrestler not one that last wrestled for WVU 4 years ago.

They are having money trouble on the academic side of the house not athletics. WVU athletics as a whole is in good shape funding wise.

That would be awesome but hope he is able to work it out with the NCAA. They can be terrible to deal with and arbitrary on their decisions.

Hope the wrestlers can find a landing spot this late in the year.

He got hurt in the NCAA Championship so not sure if he is all healed up yet.

I do not know about anyone's scholarship situations or their reasons for transferring out. It is obvious though the guys transferring out of WVU are non-starters and most are guys that used to be a starter and lost their spot.
