Great job to Noah Champ of Southern Scuffle and 20-0 mark for the year. After Geer was handed a loss and Noah beat Laird that should put Noah on top of Brucki and Brunner IMO. West Virginia proud.

As a parent of a state champion I have always wondered the complete opposite. A state champion should be "THE" state champion in his class wrestling all of the above A,AA,AAA. If you look at the past 10 years can you say that there was no way a AA champ couldnt have beat the AAA champ? You...

Looks to me like there was almost an upset at 160 Gibson/Thompson. That would have had that bracket upside down. By the software it looks like Thompson was given a point for stalling. Then no score in the 2nd. Gibson escaped in the 3rd and then had TD. Not sure how late in the 3rd that happened but ...

In 2013 my son won a State Championship. It seemed like his senior year just flew by. On 2/16 he won the regional championship then 7 days later he was wrestling at States. Back in the day when I had a son that wrestled I never gave it much thought when the scores were not updated. Now I feel sorry for the parents and fans that have to work and cant see their kid wrestle. NO UPDATES!!!!!!!!!!!! Very frustrating that there isnt an avenue to take to find up to date score...

Big Sandy is indeed the worst. The location is terrible for anybody coming from the eastern panhandle, Hampshire,Grant, HArdy and preston counties. I would agree that somewhere in Clarksburg would be a great fit for everyone.

I have known and watched Davey since he was a youngin. He has put in the time and effort it takes to be a champion. Much like my son, it has been a process. Davey is an off season guy that has the endurance many would buy. After the loss with Gibson in the finals, instead of running he worked harder...
