Re: Braxton County - Keep up the good work.
Yeah we didn't submit those :( On the flip side, I had 4 or 5 different wrestlers ask me if I had seen this post before I saw it, so it is important for all of us to remember that the wrestlers do look on here. Then that means your wrestlers read Bearhugger compliment them on a good weekend. Keep u...

Especially brackets with more then four wrestlers in a weight class.
16 teams in a region in A/AA. Better hope they don't add JV athletes because can't afford to run off 32 man brackets.

Re: JR. States Podium Photos
Look at their entries declining over last couple years. This is only one of the reasons why. Why everyone else can see this and they can't I'll never understand. This used to be a top notch event a few years ago.

Re: WV Class A Challenge at Ritchie County Day One Results
I am glad this tournament happened for the smaller schools and hope it continues. Ritchie County coaches, parents, fans and whoever else helped done a tremendous job. Took one longer break at lunchtime that I have no problem with to let the referees, coaches, and table workers eat. Had to be the bes...

Re: 138 AA/A - The Saga Continues
Based on the math you provided....27 top 6 ranked kids who did not place per year. There are 14 weight classes, and the top 6 place at states. That is 84 placing wrestlers. If 27 of the top 6 do not place, that means that 32% of the time the rankings are wrong, and 68% of the time they are right. P...

Re: 113 - Things Are looking Up
I have now accounted for at least four 113 pound wrestlers in AAA region 2. This was a state tournament bye risk earlier in the season. Maybe the awareness created some recruiting out of the hallways???? Yes, your constant nagging on here about state tournament byes helped recruit kids out of the h...

Re: Questions Answered.....For Now
This was a great weekend of wrestling in Huntington. Good job to the staff and coaches at WSAZ. It was nice to see some out of state teams show up as well. There were a lot of great match ups in every class. It was nice to see the kids settling things on the mat. It will be interesting to see if th...

Re: WSAZ finals videos
If there are no videos available here is 10 things I learned 1. Murderers Row had a good showing but hit a few bumps and there was no diminutive parent standing center mat holding up 4 fingers this week. 2. Liam the Lion Tamer caged the unbeatable Animal 3. Hart makes his point at 182. 4. BJ Haynes...
