Does anybody know why we haven't much success in recruiting kids from PA especially Western PA? We should be getting our share of wrestlers from that area.

Well, we are now down to 4 recruits from last year's class of 12. The most recent defection is Austin Myers probably the projected starter at HWT. He is transferring to Missouri. Is it common to have 8 of 12 recruits leave in their very first year of collegiate wrestling?

The 2015 recruiting class was ranked #4. Signed 12 quality wrestlers.

I noticed that Dylan Cottrell did NOT wrestle last night for Appy State. There was a rumor that he was trying to transfer to WVU for the spring semester. Any truth to this?

With the recent coaching change at WVU, is anyone aware of any former WV wrestlers at other colleges possibly considering transferring back home? I know that there has to be mutual interest. Just curious if we may see some in-state kids participating for the Mountaineers.

I believe Sacred Heart. He was listed on Intermat and AWN as a transfer.

Last year, it was announced that WVU wrestling added Alex Thompson to the program. He was a former NJ state champ. He signed to play football at another school but decided to leave to wrestle. He has never been put on the roster. Just curious if he is still part of the program. Anyone know??

Does anyone know who will be working with the upper weights at WVU? I hope Dom Bradley comes on board as a volunteer assistant. Felix and Marable will work out fine with the lower and middle weights. Need someone to focus on 184, 197, and HWT.
