After 9 games South is # 1 in scoring defense again only giving up 8.56 points per game. Martinsburg played there last game Saturday and finished with a 8.60 scoring defense. I f South holds PHS to 9 points they will tie Martinsburg for #1. Any less than that and they will be #1 by themselves. :D :D...

I know this is a wrestling forum, but since wrestling season has not started yet I have to give credit to the South football defense. Parkersburg South is # 1 in scoring defense allowing only 10.67 points per game. And as we all know defense wins games. There headed for the play offs !

Congratulations to Josh Humphreys for being the first ever two time AAA Most Outstanding Wrestler. The only other two time Most Outstanding Wrestler award went to Single A Cody Clark from Calhoun County. He claimed the award in 2007 at 130 and again at 135 in 2010.

The Seeds for Region two, three and four have been posted on here. So where are the Region 1 seeds ? Region one use to almost always have their Seeds posted first on here when South and PHS was in there Region. Now that there not, Region one is the last to post their seeds. I don't get it.

I talked to Nash and Simpkins at the OVAC Duels and they told me they would both be competing in the regionals. One of the John Marshall coaches tod me they thought McCool would also be in the regionals.

I saw that 170-Simpkins of WP defaulted his last three matches on the 27th at the Jimmy Ward Invitational. Is he going to be ok to wrestle in the regionals ? I also heard 160-Nash of WP dislocated his shoulder a couple of weeks ago. Will he be ready to go in the regionals ? And will 182-McCool-JM be...
