Re: Bear Tracks AA/A In Season - Edition 1
As far as the transfers from East Side I think that’s an issue that should be looked into. Many good athletes simply transfer to West Fairmont whenever they want it seems. You’re welcome for the East Side talent helping provide your success. No wrestler transferred to fairmont senior this year. Two...

Re: State Tournament needs changed
Just go to a single class and leave it at that. Moving teams from AA/A to AAA just relocates the problem. Instead of having byes at AAA we will have them at AA/A. Problem not solved. Exactly!!! Have 8 regions of 4 or 4 regions of 8. There would still be 32 wrestlers in each weight class. Place the ...

Where at the winners choice do you seat all those fans and wrestlers? I'm not the smartest guy bur I'm pretty sure there is more seating at big sandy. Marxatke knows what he is talking about and after a cancellation Moorefield was offered a spot and were not able to come per administration

Ok Lloyd I'll take you up on that one! I have been tested, dare to compare? Before you put your foot in your mouth, I scored in the upper 1-2% of all people taking the ASVAB in 1985, GT scores in the 130s. I've only had 30 years to build on my very solid foundational knowledge. of course your gonna...

Re: AAA teams droping to AA
It would seem that the best way to "ignore" the enrollment is to have a simple "the largest enrollment of X number of schools shall be AAA," but then you'd have to find a way to make it not change every other year. Perhaps a rolling 10 to 15 year average? I don't know, because a...

Jeff Courtney of Fairmont Senior was co-ow with Matt Stevens in 2001 and won it outright in 2002. Fairmont Senior was AAA then. Zach Frazier is the nephew of Jeff.

Either way the certain school that has this topic being brought up needs to get a grip on their kids. It makes ...

What plank are you referring to? Are you comparing "said team" behavior to a speck? Not very many teams have to suspend wrestlers for behavior because most coaches and parents demand respect.

Is there even a question as to the toughest tournament in state? The Winner's Choice is just about every year, but especially this year! It looks like the Brooke tournament and WSAZ would be 2nd and 3rd.

Re: Stalling rules?
Coach999, this just sounds like sour grapes to me. First off, every one of your posts sure seems like you are trying to take away quite a bit from the champ. Pummeling in for a bearhug is an offense and blocking with your head while backing up is stalling. This seems pretty clear cut to most. I'm no...

My only issue is that they don't reflect the pairings. For example Laya and Lusher are 1 and 2 yet they are projected to meet in the semis.
