I dont think AAA is drying up. If you wrestle all classes together i think AAA walkes away with 10 of 14 state titles I received a text from my friend Truesouthfaninbulgaria. He said if you take South out of the equation, the AA walks away with most of the titles. At a glance, I would have to agree...

Hard to debate a lot of talent feeds the school and very successful program. How many assistant coaches? Looks like an entire team of coaches standing behind the team.

Best from PHS at 132; Amos which ever weight class he wants! Souths Martin I'm guessing 138;

Point Pleasant will surprise some and always think Ripley brings a solid team (Ripley very competitive for the size of that school) PHS; Huntington; and University will be tough teams also.

Donna Dixon would be a great choice. She has won a State Championship for South. I sure hope the PHS staff doesn't act like the South staff did when the head coach opening occurred few years ago. That was not right how it all went down! Care to elaborate? Don't want to see the drama start again abo...

Happy Birthday to Gator! I always enjoy the good sportsmanship he displays on this site! I agree with him in many issues. It's nice there are positive influences like Gator and bearhugger on here for the sport of wrestling!

Did anyone address the WVSSAC on concerns to making wrestling in Wv great again? Like two big regionals (North and South) for both AAA and AA/A to get the best wrestlers at the state tourney!

Nutrition is key and feeling energetic helps I don't like to see wrestlers cutting weight. I know there are several that run away from competition to place higher. I know I will get criticized for this post but this is important for the long term of health to the wrestlers

A very talented young man

Curious as to how many South seniors are going on to wrestle at next level? I seen where Delong is going WVU and Lambiotte going to OVU.

South and Indy looked very solid with their full line ups, hard to believe any of those varsity kids not being on varsity. Another argument that JVs should be able to compete in states if they are more talented and deserving to compete.

Wow someone said everyone was coming for South but 3 I was thinking they had more seniors than that this past year.
I knew Indy had a lot returning too.

Who is returning for South lineup next year?
