Keep the pill for all the reasons aaacoach117 stated. I've been in seeding meetings where way too much BS goes on. Please keep the pill.

I've sat in on many seeding meetings for tournaments where someone was ducking/hiding from someone. It happens.

State champions

I'm not a student of the state tournament so I have a couple of questions. When , if ever, has a region 4th place finisher won either one of the state tournaments(AAA and A/AA)? Has anyone not one of the 1-4 region placers ever won a state tournament? Thanks, just interested.

Re: Moving up?

The article also says the regular season will not be effected. Just the post seasons. Soooo, sections/regions would need to possibly be realigned if this happens. But football would be effected regular season since a point system is in place to secure playoff spots.

Re: Moving up?

If school B is AA and it wants to compete in AAA in boys basketball it will be allowed. The other sports will remain AA. Previously, it was my understanding a school, to play up, it needed to compete up in AAA in all sports.

Re: Praying for the Coaches

Earned my letter my jr. year filling in for an injured varsity wrestler. That wrestler entered the states undefeated. We needed 12 team points to letter. 3 points per decision, 4 for major, 5 for tech fall, 6 for fall/forfeit/medical injury win. I earned 21 team points in 10 varsity matches. Was act...

Chuck Wright, Honorable Mention, 1970, the oldest one on this list was my high school coach for 2 years. Great young coach. I fell in love with wrestling during this time.

Tell coach Flynn from EU we'll give him within 10% of Sanderson's salary. When he reaches the top 5 give him a bonus to equal it........LOL

Re: Sammie Henson no longer coach at WVU

Last year Flynn pulled his name from consideration from the Pitt job. In a published interview he stated it would be very very hard to leave EU. LOL, I know it’s a new year, but why would where he is close to legend status? I’d be thrilled with a Flynn hire.

LOL, aacoach61, make no mistake an AD that understands wrestling at its highest levels is a total plus. I totally understand title IX. I agree Flynn would be an outstanding choice. Is he interested or is he totally satisfied at EU? Certainly others are interested. Lyons, I’m sure will move quickly. ...

aaacoach61, may first post indicates I'm ready to move on. No shame in learning things so mistakes will not be repeated. I've said for several years we need to be competing with Sanderson in recruiting. Bring someone in who WILL do this.

Askren would be interesting. My worry here is recruiting experience. Hughes may well be good too. Let's see what interest this position brings. I want someone who can recruit against Sanderson from Penn State. He is getting most of the material.
