I doubt there are any weak spots in their lineup this year. However, if there is, I'm sure some multi-time state champ's parent will open a business there or just mysteriously move there for some other off the wall reason.

Although its not listed yet, in the past I believe its usually begins on the third Friday in January, so that would make it January 19 and 20 this season, but thats just a guess.

Some kids that are good enough to wrestle maybe choose to pursue other sports in college. Just throwing that out there, not really sure myself.

So with everything that has been said, the Hart-Ward match gets my vote as the worst officiated match ever. The officiating crew, Jeremy Callen, and the Winfield coaches (yes them too) should be ashamed of themselves .

For the life of me I can't understand why the Winfield contingency wants to lay claim to a title that they clearly didn't win. Someone should have stepped up.

Short version, Hart won, but all involved won't admit to their mistake.

If i had to take a guess i would say that Indy made a replica of the wvssac 145 lb championship plaque and is ceremonially giving this to mr hart. no way the wvssac would reverse the decision.... In hindsight, probably not the right choice.

You could get middle school kids from the stands to do a better job than these guys did this year. Don't take up for them, they messed up and refused to fix it while they had a chance. I agree leave the kids out of it, but there are plenty of adults that need to step up, Winfield coaches included.

Why haven't we heard from any of the refs who frequent the board. I'd love to hear the thoughts of some the "I call the fall, I call the stall" bunch that are always talking about what a good job they do. Guess no one wants to step to the plate.

I've heard the refs had the wrong score and refused to change it in the 145 match. It's a shame for a kid to lose a match because of incompetent officiating, much less a state championship match.

My guess would be no, since thats the day the tournament starts and you would have to make weight by that day anyway.
