Re: LCQ Example - Sam Adams of Independence
All done within the rules outlined by all of the academic and sports gurus. The point of the Sam Adams post is to point out that he has beat four different state tournament qualifiers. They are competing for state tournament individual accolades and Adams is not. The field of 16 qualifiers is not t...

Re: LCQ Example - Sam Adams of Independence
Young Adams could always transfer to another school so that he could get a spot. You can’t tell me that’s not an option given a couple of the names you mentioned of wrestlers in his way got to Indy by transferring and/or moving there. Which I have no objection to. All done within the rules outlined...

Re: LCQ Example - Sam Adams of Independence

As example, in basketball a JV player can play 5 quarters an evening. In baseball/softball, a player gets a max 32...

Re: 2 things out of whack
anytime you have a concept such as sectionals or regionals determining such a thing, there is going to be situations where one is more stacked than the other. the theory is that the it evens itself out over the scope of years. now, that doesn't help the annual feelings of one region or section is be...

i see a kid named Zane Hinzman in the AAA rankings. I'll admit that i do not follow AAA hardly at all. A few years ago when i was coaching middle school wrestling there was a boy from Ritchie Co whose last name was Hinzman and I am almost certain his first name was Zane. Does anyone know if this is...

Team list. Braxton is listed for this tournament and another. Was making the trip, not sure if I will. No current, up-to-date list. Only takes a very few minuets to post teams attending. as far as Clay is aware Braxton is scheduled to be at this tourney. Braxton may be thinking Clay left them high ...

It takes an army of knowledge and volunteers to run the state tournament. They also host the girls and boys state basketball tournaments, so maybe spreading the we...

it doesn't appear that they re-pooled on Day 2 like a standard dual tourney. But, i could be missing something. Well, after looking maybe they did. It looks like the top 5 are: 1. Braxton 2. Keyser 3. Liberty Harrison 4. Clay 5. Fayetteville I think Lib Raleigh is not top 5 because they got most of ...

A referees job is not to enforce his idea of what a dress code is. Focus on being a referee. Worry more about my wrestler being illegally slammed, awarding points to the correct wrestler and calling a pin when there is one. There is no rule in the WVSSAC or NFHS handbooks about coach dress code and...
