Doesn't have to be this way. I've traveled all over the eastern half of US with wrestling. Although you can get delays anywhere it seems much worse in our region than anywhere. Uncertain why though. I wish I had the answer.

Take the MSAC results with a grain of salt. Several teams didn't send their starters. At least one team didn't send 1/2 of their team. Why? I don't know. I just know the MSAC tourney does not seem to be a priority.

Spring Valley is not in region 2. They are in region 4. However, I'm sure they'd be glad to switch. Lol

That 113 class is a nightmare. The Childers kid (Midland) was ranked until the last week or so. He has missed the last few tourneys. Not sure if he's ill, injured, or left the team. I've been saying, all this year, SVHS is better than most people think. They've surprised a few teams this year. They are a "blue collar" squad. No big names just several hard working pretty decent kids.

Unfortunately six of the top 10 wrestlers, at 113, are in region four. Going to be some good kids left behind for the state tournament. It's a shame.

Eian Harper pinned Conner Spaulding, at Winners Choice, and was ahead on points when it happened. Spaulding is 9th and Harper is no where to be found.

I for one am glad it's over. Every year I go there the attitude of the people running that tournament seem to get worse. It's like they are doing you a favor letting you pay to attend. Spring Valley has a better team that than most think. I believe they only took 9 wrestlers to Winners Choice the rest were at St Mary's. They just don't have a history of being a strong program. However, that may be changing.
