2025 Shady Spring Scuffle

Shady Spring High School will be hosting the 2025 Shady Spring Scuffle on Friday,
December 12, 2025 at Shady Spring High School, 300 Hinton Rd, Shady Spring, WV
for High School and Middle School girl wrestlers. This will be a double elimination
individual bracketed tournament.
Weigh-ins/Skin Checks will be at 3:00 PM and wrestling will begin at 4:00 PM.
Wrestling will be done on 4 mats in our main gym. Only short breaks to allow the
officials and coaches to eat will be taken.
The entry fee is $25.00 per wrestler or $250.00 for a team of 10 or more with a
check required at weigh in made payable to: Shady Spring High School Wrestling.
A hospitality room will be provided for coaches and officials and affordable
concessions will also be available.
High School Weight Classes are: 100 - 107 - 114 - 120 - 126 - 132 - 138 - 145 - 152 -
165 - 185 – 235
Middle School weight classes will be done using the Madison weight system.
Medals will be awarded for Individuals placing First, Second, and Third in each
weight class.
Trophies will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Place Teams, and
Outstanding Wrestlers from 100-132 and from 138-235 and two middle school
weights.
