Independence has 11, Point Pleasant has 8 still alive after day 1.

Going into semifinals:
Independence has 4 left in semis and 1 in the consolation rounds.
Point Pleasant has 1 in the semis and 2 in the consolation rounds.
Indy is in 3rd Point is in 14th,

looks like Cox and Adams are in the semis from Independence. Stafford from Point in the semis too. It would be nice to see all three in the finals and see Stafford and Adams both in finals at 195. 2 WV wrestlers battling for first and second.

Cox just beat the 2 seed and is in the finals.

Safford. State finalist, all state football Pretty familiar name around the state. SAFFORD.

Independence

Noah Adams - 1st - 195
Alex Daniels - 2nd - 220
Will Cox - 2nd - 145
Hunter Taylor (B) - 4th - 126
Tanner Harris - 6th - 120
Haegan Harvey - 8th - 126

Team finished fourth.

Point Pleasant

Grant Safford - 3rd - 195
Tannor Hill - 6th - 220

Team finished 13th.

Camden County (5A out of Georgia) won the tournament by a mile. Lot of really good wrestlers in Georgia.

Safford was Stafford on Point's Twitter feed all day, which I assumed was the result of an autocorrect of a unique last name.

Hunter White - Point Pleasant also finished 6th at 182.

Great tournament with a lot of good wrestling. I think both Indy and Point represented WV well. Congrats to Independence on a top 4 finish.
