Last season, West Virginia made national news for the state tournament being split apart due to skin disease concerns. This season, the looming story is will the state tournament be disrupted due to a teacher's strike.
Although I do not keep up with "other states" like many do, these stories definitely set West Virginia apart.
Maybe soon, WV can set itself apart from the "other states" in an innovative and positive way when it comes to wrestling.
