How about some results
Re: Wheeling Park AAAAA OVAC Champions
It was cancelled because of weather conditions and by rule the # 1 seeds are awarded the championship.

Were Parkersburg South and Beaver Local, OH planning on competing?
Congrats to Wheeling Park.
Congrats to Wheeling Park.
Re: Wheeling Park AAAAA OVAC Champions
I have a question. How did WP get a number one seed over Steubenville when Steubenville recently beat them 54-14?

the OVAC uses a points system, but not head to head.

Makes absolutely no sense! Head to head should be number one criteria!

Wasn't there a situation in the past some many years where despite Parkersburg South kicking all team's butts in the OVAC tournament, they could not compete in the OVAC duals meet because they didn't "dual" enough OVAC teams?
I vote South bails out of the OVAC and rolls on down to the WSAZ.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

I vote they stay for the good competition. Not really concerned about the dual meet award. Neither is South or Beaver Local. They're both just scheduling a competitive schedule.

Pretty sure Steubenville is not 5A in the OVAC. 4A maybe?

Agree completely. South is good bc they wrestle the harder schedule year after year. OVAC tournament is tougher especially with Beaver Local's team being so young.
