Did I hear correctly that Mundey of Berkeley Springs won his 200th match this weekend? If so congrats to you, young man. That is quite the accomplishment.

Congratulations to this young man and great job to whoever does their scheduling. Our wrestlers could not do this even if they went undefeated 4 years in a row. And it’s only the 1/2 way point for this season. Great accomplishment!!! Congrats!

Congrats on a grand accomplishment!! Not only is this accomplishment due to scheduling, but no doubt it took hard work, determination and staying healthy for 4 years. Again, big congrats!!!

Looks like he qualified in 2015, his two losses were to the eventual 3rd and 4th place finishers. Qualified in 2016, his two losses were to the eventual 1st and 6th place finishers. Placed 2nd last year.

I have known and watched Davey since he was a youngin. He has put in the time and effort it takes to be a champion. Much like my son, it has been a process. Davey is an off season guy that has the endurance many would buy. After the loss with Gibson in the finals, instead of running he worked harder. This is what it takes to be a champion. Coach Bennett said that my son (Matthew Parkinson Champ 220 2013) worked harder, focused harder than anyone on the team. He said he wished he had alot of him just in different weights. Well I think you could say that about Davey. He works hard and understands what has to be done. And of course he is from Berkeley Springs.....We dont expect anything less. Great wrestler and great guy. Good luck to him.
