Germ Control

Postby Bearhugger » Sun Jan 14, 2018 12:55 pm

I am not a doctor, a scientist, a four time state champ, an Olympic Gold medalist or a germ-a-phobe. However, I do know that the public men's floor is not a good staging area for a wrestler's headgear and warm up suit.

Before the finals at the Winner's Choice, I went to wash my hands. A wrestler came in, purposely dropped his headgear down on the floor, left it there and went back to the stall area. Another wrestler came in, dropped his warm up clothes ON THE FLOOR and went to the stall area.

There have been over 1,000 people in and out of the men's room that weekend.

Flu hits every season. We all know what happened at the state tournament last year. Soaking up urine and fecal material with your wrestling gear and then dragging it to the mat and grinding it into your opponent's skin cannot be good for the sport.

Teach your kids. Supervise your kids.

This is a serious post. Don't get offended. Take action.

Good luck!
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!
