LCQ Example - Parkersburg South 120lbs

Postby Bearhugger » Tue Feb 13, 2018 1:34 am

Here is a great example on how the Last Chance Qualifier could make wrestling great again.

Parkersburg South has the best team I have ever seen.

Returning 2017 state tournament 113 4th place winner Ian Irizarry is not on varsity.

Word has it that he has lost by 1 point in wrestle offs, on more than one occasion, to returning 106 5th place winner Tucker Windland.

Tucker Windland is the 2018 AAA Region 4 champion. Tucker is also the 2018 OVAC champion.

Irizarry won the Williamstown Bob Zide at 126lbs. In doing so, he defeated current AA/A state tournament qualifiers.

Out of 16 AAA state tournament qualifiers at 120lbs, I am sure Irizarry could beat 12 or more of them.

The LCQ would probably make Ian Irizarry happy.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Participation trophies??????????????

LOL!!!!!

People talk about tough schedules all season long. IRON SHARPENS IRON!!!!!!!!!! The cream will rise to the top.

Irizarry would only make the state tournament tougher! When you do not want the toughest competing, then you are making an argument to make things easier for your team.

Keep those pretend points.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!
