Congratulations the 138# AA/A state champion Alec Cook (jr) who won in the finals versus an undefeated wrestler. Alec was named Class A Outstanding Wrestler.

Also, congratulations to Class A Coach of the Year Jamie Lesho, who is also Madonna’s principal. Coach Lesho was a former state placewinner for Madonna and returned to coaching after a decade away. He coached Anthony Valles to a state championship for Madonna in 2002. I’m sure Coach Lesho would be the first to credit his top assistant Coach Denny Cook for much of the success.

Agree. The selection of both was a great choice. 138 pound weight class may have been the most solid class in both AAA and AA-A.
