Free discussion, the 88 Big Red team was really good. I remember them well. If my old memory serves me correctly, they took about 7 or 8 wrestlers to the state tournament one year and won it all too.

Gator... you are the best!!
Love people who are very humble and I always enjoyed talking with you and all the South fans.
I also like Tim Amos humble ways because I can tell he is doing a great job with his son.

One Question: Will Amos be wrestling Cadet or Junior?

Another note: I got some studs on the junior level that are in the 195 range. One kid, dad is a former Olympian for Cuba. ( Greco)
I am praying that someday Amos makes the Olympics.

Just hope that some of these young WV kids will look up to the champions and will start training to be great as well!

Braxton still has another year at the Cadet level. I think his dad Tim said he would be cutting for the Cadet Worlds in June on another post.

Was actually 7 champs in 13 weight classes. I have always thought of that team as the best (and I was a South grad) until this year's South team. Would have been a fun duel.

Why has no one mentioned the 1948 PHS team that won 8 of 11 weight classes? :)

Probably because it was dual.
