Bearhuggers masked man
I'm 99'9% sure bearhuggers masked man is Ripleys' Chris Jordan. After a steller middle school career, Chris sat out for three years. He's back now and doing great, but he's not quite there yet. By states he should be right in the mix.

LOL!!!!!!
The good thing about dealing with wrestlers from "parts unknown", their identity is unknown.

IDK about any masked men stealing a title, but I south will undoubtedly win the team title

When it is mentioned that "South" would have won the team title, they mean "South Raleigh County" aka Independence.

Re: Bearhuggers masked man
I think South would have left without a team title and without any individual titles. Would have been a bad day for them.

I think South would of left with a team title and 14 individual champions.
Re: Bearhuggers masked man
Every school beats PSHS in make believe land.
With Jacob Hart returning to Indys line up it would've been close.
South would've had at least 2 maybe 3 individual champs at 113 182 195

Re: Bearhuggers masked man
Joe, how do you think South won the state tournament with only 2 champs last year? Consolations! Same with the Z's...1 champ.

South would have won 113, maybe 182. Indy would have won the team title and the MOW.

Re: Bearhuggers masked man
South might have gotten one at 182, that was there only hope. Not 113, not 195, not a chance. Somebody posted above, they would have needed a terrific consi's tournament to pull it off.

LOL that is true Gator
Re: Bearhuggers masked man
That potential finals matchup between Whorton and Martin at 113 was the match I was most looking forward to watching as a wrestling fan at WSAZ. It's a shame we won't get the chance to make that one up. Two really good wrestlers. That storm robbed us of some real drama Saturday night.

I agree Indyhart......But, there were several great match ups to be seen at the Z's this year. Its a shame that it couldn't have been rescheduled to fit everyone's liking. But, with that being said.....Whortons relentless pursuit on his feet and his clever tactics on the mat would have prevailed heavily in the 113 match !! Sorry (south) ......Runner up in this one !!

Re: Bearhuggers masked man
195 was the main event in my mind. Two of the best in WV right now. Justin Allman of South. Ranked nationally in flowrestling, 2 time state champ. King of the Moutain (tournament winner).
Noah Adams, state champ, sophomore national champ, 2x all American, and double Fargo all American.
This would've been clash of the titans. A/AA vs AAA at it's finest.

I must have been snow blind to overlook Whorton and to not pick him to win 113. 113 would have been a super match between Whorton and Martin.
