Noah wins 2-1 in the finals! Congratulations Mr. Adams!

Didn't mean to overlook or slight Jacob Hart who finished 3rd in the Powerade. Great work Jacob!

These two sentences speak volumes.

If a wrestlers wants to compete in these big tournaments, then they better be ready to wrestle 9 minute matches, 2 to 3 times a day, for two days straight.

You better have your weight under control due to the two early morning weight ins.

You better have a good solid plan for eating and hydrating during each day of competition.

You better have an effective out of season and IN SEASON weight lifting program.

Now, I do not know Josh. I do know Noah. Noah lifts year round. Josh looks like he spends plenty of time in the weight room. These are the two finalists from WV.

I also noticed Mr. Humphreys putting a bottle of water into the hands of the St. Albans wrestlers after every match.

These tournaments are a grind. The battle ready, battle tested rise to the top.............not the cream.

The kids practicing their lateral drop or their arm spin this weekend might hit that on some other kid once this season. The kids doing the squats and hill runs this weekend will be the ones winning that miserable consolation semi final match 2-0 in SV1 on Saturday morning, in Huntington, on the season's final day.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!
