The last loss to any WV team in a dual is http://www.wvmat.com/scores/13scores/0105ccin.htm
Was this an A team for Indy?

Appreciate the updates that you provided FBISURVALINCEVAN1. Bet that place exploded. Apparently fans like me missed a ton of excitement. Going to make it very interesting down the stretch.

Gotta give props where it's needed. East came out fired up and took the momentum. Indy has wrestled so many tough matches lately that to me they looked a little exhausted/flat whatever you wanna call it. Good performance overall by East for sure! I didn't expect this dual to be near this close and honestly underestimated East! A couple pins in matches they were supposed to lose and boom 40-33. Daniels was up by 9 points at 182 with seconds on the clock and got hit with a cowboy for a huge pin by East. That was a 10 point swing in the matter of 6 seconds. The crowd was live, like an old school dual you would see on "vision quest". Well worth the 2.5 hour drive for a quality match like this. East had the sound effects and music bumpin! He1l of a show. Can't wait to see what happens in February!

Thanks for coming and the compliments on the atmosphere! That is the only home match in our building this year! The kids were jacked up that Indy would make the trip and it was a compliment that they would want to. When the top team in the state thinks your worthy of making a trip like that on a school night your doing some things right. Big thank you to North and Indy and best of luck to you both!!!!

It was my first visit to East Fairmont. Great looking school. Great recognition to past wrestlers in the trophy case. Great atmosphere.

East Fairmont's team appears to have put in the right kind of work in the off season. Their whole team looked fit, strong and rugged. They have some incredible kids. They also had a few kids pull off some upsets.

I will be very disappointed if East Fairmont does not bring their top JV wrestlers to the WSAZ.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Agreed about wsaz. Hope both are competing. Really curious as to the wrestle offs between EF's 106s, how close are they and how often do they take place?

Coaches, Wrestlers, Parents, Fans etc.......

I've been around wrestling for a long time and this may have been the most exciting dual/tri match that I have seen in my 14 years of involvement. If you are a wrestling fan of any kind, East Fairmont high school was the place to be last night as the #1,2 and 3 teams in AA squared off against each other. The excitement in the air was truly like "Electricity" especially when EF and Indy started battling head to head. My hat's off the all three teams for quite a show. It was certainly worth the price of admission !!

The exciting and the biggest upset of the dual. Postlewait catches Daniels for the pin that secured the dual for East.

It's junior varsity. Only a couple starters who have missed matches along the way. There is a second Independence team with extra junior varsity guys that they threw in to fill the pools due to cancellations.

noshowjoe,........Really ?!?!!?

Are you you that obtuse ?

Please tell me who would score the 3 points for EF if you get a minute in your busy schedule. Maybe one of the two timers if they're lucky or what ? Lol,.....

Yeah 3 points really? EF would beat park south worse than they beat Indy! The lower weights from 106-138 goes to to EF for sure heck park south lost today..... *lets hear the excuses of why* I must say kudos to EF for winning but more so kudos to Indy and their coaching staff for handling the loss like true champions that's just great coaching!

Easy trigger... I have nothing to with the south program what so ever but I havnt missed many matches this season and know every wrestler on every ranked team pretty well. I don't want anyone getting mad at me for my opinion but I'm gonna give it and I could be proven wrong (again) lol.. Parkersburg south lost today but they had 3-4 missing starters. I think south could win 3 of the first 4 and it only gets worse from there. South is no joke man. They have a very experienced team and great coaching. They have the defending runner up at 106, the 3rd ranked AAA 113, 2nd ranked 120 and a defending 2x state champion at 126. So just say they go 2-2 through 126.. Do your research on the rest of their upper weights. I'm pretty sure they are ranked top 5 with every other weight class above 126. In my opinion east is really gonna have to wrestle well to score 25 points in that dual. East did beat Indy but they wrestled every match perfectly to do it. I agree with one statement you made, and that is Indy has a class act coaching staff and that is the reason, (along with a great group of parents and kids) that they will 4peat as your 2017 AA state wrestling team champions. With that said, East is doing great things and moving in the right direction.

Maybe someone can get this dual scheduled? Who all would come watch this? This would be a good one! However, I'm not gonna put my predicted score so nobody gets offended and beat the purpose of the conversation. But when you lose to second ranked AAA team by 2 pts with 5 starters missing? That echoes that sort of team they are. Somebody get this match scheduled! I think pshs has an extra weigh in, because didn't they cancel 2 seperate events if I'm not mistaken?
