JV ALERT - JANUARY 28TH

Postby Bearhugger » Sat Jan 28, 2017 3:08 pm

I have been advised by two different sources that JV wrestler Jake Martin of Parkersburg South has pinned the #1 seed at the Brooke Classic.

It is amazing what can happen when you let the JV in the house.

Great job Jake Martin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even better! 11 to 7 tells me he out wrestled the #1 seed instead of getting a lucky pin.

Just think if the JV was left behind????

Great job Jake Martin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, he got hurt and placed 6th. Don't ask how he got hurt. I make it a practice to never divulge anyone's injuries.

Injuries happen and I hate that for everyone who defaults.

However, he made a strong name for himself (again) in defeating the #1 seed.

A job well done!
