First time I've posted in so many years I had to get a new account! Lol.
Spent this evening watching wrestling down here at Indy and to my surprise I seen some great wrestlers coming up short on gas!
Would have liked to have seen the ref push the action with some stall or stalemate calls but this matchup tonight wasn't decided by the ref and never should be! I felt that South just wanted it more in the end. Would like to see this matchup mid season with everyone healthy and in their respective weight classes.

Real classy buddy. Let's throw laughing emojis because a team of kids were defeated. Not to mention they gave all they had, could have been out getting into trouble tonight, and worked their butts off all year. You are nothing like gator my man. Gator wins with class! You should try it

Thinking on the way home what a great program Independence has. The coaches are all good guys and are a class act. Their fans were very friendly and a class act. We ( south coaches ) thank them for allowing us to come and be a part of a great thing!

Congrats to South and Indy for getting together on this match. Thank you to the coaches from both teams who made this happen. Focus on the prize now.

21-0 South

Irizarry over Lusher? Is that accurate? Was Lusher hurt? Wrestling blindfolded, with one arm tied behind his back?

Thanks to all involved for making the dual happen. The good folks at Indy, which we sat among, were gracious and kind. South wrestled well and Indy was missing a couple of of their kids. I've never witnessed a break in action to set up a coaches burrito/taco eating contest. That was funny!

Good to see some old friends and make some new ones. Good to meet you Mattman and best wishes to "Pickle" this weekend.

I hope this match happens every year. Two great programs and great kids.

I also made the trip down from northern Kanawha County and wasn't dissapointed. Great atmosphere and even better wrestling. At least 2 OTmatches that were great. I haven't seen South in person much but was very impressed. Top notch from top to bottom and that's not taking anything away from Indy, which is a first class program and have good people there which I have gotten to know. Of course I can't forget to mention Indys double edge sword of Adams and Hart. Not often do you see twowrestlers at that level on that. same team. Whisk I would've gotten to meet you Gator. I enjoy your posts and passion for the sport. And I agree about the burrito contest.

I've never seen a wrestler get upset over someone posting a laughing emoji. That level of sensitivity seems reserved to adults.

Hard Head, Ian has worked his butt off this year and is getting better by the day!! its not good to be disrespectful to kids on here. if you don't have positive things to say about kids then you don't say anything at all!! Thank you for a great night. Independence is a class act from the top down. Good luck to all the wrestlers at the States!!

I believe (if my memory is correct) it was 10-2 before the pin and there were 3 back points in limbo waiting to see if Allman got off his back or was pinned.

I couldn't agree more. I was the spectator yelling for our guys at Indy but South brought it to us and we got out wrestled! Even though Huntington was running short on wrestlers they were not short on talent! I especially liked the "Tebow" before the match. Class!
