There is absolutely no way that Huntington finishes 6th in the team race.

Someone was projecting Cabell Midland to somehow finish ahead of Huntington at the MSAC as well. Look how that turned out.

These teams are going to devour each other in such a small tournament.
1. South
2. Parkersburg
3. Huntington
4. Ripley
5. Cabell
6. Hurricane
7. Spring Valley

145 will be a barn burner between Starkey and Carder. Career should pull it off again, although the final Will be closer.

Take the MSAC results with a grain of salt. Several teams didn't send their starters. At least one team didn't send 1/2 of their team. Why? I don't know. I just know the MSAC tourney does not seem to be a priority.

It's his prediction and it could actually happen that way, but I see some good matches at 106,113, 132, 138, 145, 152 and 285.

This is definitely a blue collar type region...everyone will work for a qualifying spot.

If the same Gibson kid from Hurricane wrestles that I saw at Barnesville, 145 should be pretty competitive, 5 tough wrestlers going for 4 spots. It's a shame one of these young men will be left out. Play the hand you were dealt, go hard, wrestle smart and the rest will sort it self out.

I am a South fan, does not mean that I chose every South kid to win just cause I root for them. I was pretty realistic where I believe they will finish. Im sure I will be wrong somewhere that's the main reason I stated just for fun.

If you feel confident about knowing more then show your top 4...

I predict that "Team Region 4" will dominate the STATE semi finals' attendance. In other words, 14 weight classes x 4 semi finalists each = 56 wrestlers. Over 50% (+28) will be region 4 wrestlers.

2sexy, your picks are probably the worst i have ever seen on mat.com. so you must think phs will win our region. if your picks were all correct. phs would dominate our region. that will never happen. south WILL win the region, and the state this year and 2018, 2019 and 220.it will be a six year run.

I don't like to predict actual finishes, superstitious I guess. But I will predict that 138 and 152 will be loaded with excitement. There's already a ton of talent in Region 4 AAA. When you squeeze some of the talent into these weight classes together, wow.
Good Luck to all these guys tomorrow and safe travel.

I agree, every weight class will be filled with excitement......all of them. I predict that there will be some upsets, there usually is, that will shake things up. This region is loaded, at every weight class, with the cream of the crop. It all depends on which kids show up, and who is peaking at the right time. I have watched most all these kids wrestle at one point in time during the season, they all have strengths and weaknesses. It will all come down to the small stuff, one moment in the match that can dictate the outcome, and who will capitalize. I am hoping for a great, injury free, tournament where the kids and coaches show the deserved respect and class to their opponents.
