As of this writing, West Virginia has 16 wrestlers for Super 32.

Returning AAA state champions and 2018 favorite Parkersburg South has six wrestlers registered, or 37.5% of the total entrants.

Returning AAA runner ups and 2018 "runner up" favorite Parkersburg has three wrestlers registered, or 18.75% of the total entrants.

Many of PSHS and PHS' returning state tournament wrestlers are occupied with football.

9 / 16 entrants are coming from Wood County.

The Saturday of Super 32 is an ACT test date. Actually the last one before wrestling season starts. That may also have an impact on entries. My son isn't going because it is his last opportunity to retest before his scholarship application is due December 1st.

I realize that the competition will be very tough with kids from all over. However it struck me that weight classes 120 and 132 would be tough with just the number of kids from WV or with a WV connection:
120=Miller/Laya/Whorton/Staud/Simpson/Macri(Cannon-Mac)[not to mention McComas from Beaver Local and Potts from East Liverpool]
132=Hall/Martin/Best/Welker/Henson(Penn Foster)
