AAA Freshmen to Watch by Region

Postby Bearhugger » Mon Oct 09, 2017 5:52 pm

We are looking for a few good men. Four at least.

Who is going to be the hottest, baddest of the bad freshman for each AAA region:

R1?

R2?

R3?

R4?
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Gavin Quiocho wrestled 155 last year in middle school but weighed in at 145. With Souths strong lineup I'm not sure where he can break in at but there is no doubt he is an outstanding wrestler.

Gooch is at Wheeling Park. Nixon is an 8th Grader. Pretty comprehensive list, although you may have forgotten about a couple tough Moorefield Freshman. :D

Wow! Didn't realize Nixon was only an 8th grader. Best of luck to Billy this year!

In addition to those already mentioned, Stevie Mitchell, Will Kuhn, Mitchell Freeman, Isaac VanMeter, Mathew Jenkins, and Zach Anderson all come to mind. I'm not sure which division some of theses kids are in.

I am looking forward to the transition of 171 Noah Buckalew and 190 MySon Anderson from middle school to high school. I don't know if they will break into the starting lineup at South but they have the potential to be forces by the time they graduate.

In AA, look at Williamstown's Julian Stoneman, Ravenswood's Ethan Tanner and Ritchie County's Brady Layman to challenge as state qualifiers.

Thanks - Brent
