Mountaineer Youth Novice States

Due to some confusion on the deadline for registration (3/9 vs/ 3/13) and/or lack of interest the numbers for this tournament are very low. Approx. 70 currently. In order to break even when holding an event like this would be 150 wrestlers. The reason the deadline was changed was due to the lead time of the trophy vendor. I sincerely apologize for the confusion. If we continue to receive registrations after 3/9 we will consider them valid up until a final decision is made as to whether or not this tournament is economically feasible to hold. I understand that this tournament is important in promoting our sport with our novice wrestlers in the state. We will do everything we can to hold the scheduled tournament on 3/18. We will make the final decision on 3/13/18. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
