Wrestlers, Parents, and Coaches- wrestling season begins Sunday, October 9th at the 10th Annual Boardman Kickoff Classic! For those looking to get a head-start on the competition for the upcoming season, look no further. Simply put, this tournament has become THE cornerstone of preseason wrestling in Northeastern Ohio- drawing huge numbers of wrestlers from the Youngstown, Akron-Canton, Cleveland, and Western Pennsylvania areas.

For the past nine years turnout has been excellent in all divisions, with turnouts ranging from 330 to 461 wrestlers. Last year alone eight states were represented. Expect the same great competition once again this year! The Boardman Kickoff Classic is for wrestlers of all ages, from a 5-6 year old division through high school, and even a "Masters" Division for graduates.

A split start time and at least five full-sized mats running all day will ensure that this tournament runs smoothly and quickly. We WILL start and run on time for all sessions! Trophies will be awarded to top three place finishers who are 12 and under.
