The Sammie Henson era is officially underway as the new West Virginia Coach is already making his mark in the recruiting field. Pat Duggan of Cumberland Valley High School has verbally committed to wrestle at West Virginia.
Duggan who has finished 4th, 2nd and 3rd at PA States the last 3 years is projected as a 149/157 pounder at the next level. The #36 recruit on the Flo Senior Big Board represents the first big recruit of Sammie Henson’s tenure. Many felt that WVU would have great success picking up the elite bordering athletes from Ohio and Pennsylvania. There’s little to suggest that won’t be the case with Henson at the helm.
