ATTENTION: All Coaches/Teams Who May Now Be Looking For Matches
Roane County High School would like to host a tournament on Saturday Jan 30th. If you are looking to make up for lost weigh-ins, consider our tournament. Entry Fee $150/team. 9:00am weigh-in, 10:00am start. 4 mats. 2 pools of 5 teams. Round robin duals within pools, then ones-v-ones, two's -v-two's, etc., across pools, for 5 total matches. Individuals wrestle in the finals, not teams. Team score based on points earned by individual placewinners. Hospitality room (coaches/officials). JV wrestlers may be used to fill in open spots. Team 1st- 2nd Place trophies. Medals for individual champions. Nice facility. Spacious commons area for spectators or teams. OUTSIDE GROUP? Well, the WV Duals are seeking more folks.
The state tournament qualification process needs to be improved first and foremost.
