Comments: This was an interesting dual pitting many quality OVAC opponents together sporting 2 OVAC runner-ups facing off at 125 3rd place & 5th place at 145 2 more 3rd place finishers and a 7th place finisher in competition. At 125 Tyler Hughes OVAC runner-up at 125 defeated Derek Maple runner-up at 119 7-1 earning him a share of the prestigious crown of CAMERON HIGH CAREER WIN LEADER with 140 wins. He shares this title with Chad Burge (3-time state champion) currently and will be shooting for a personal ownership of the record with his first match at regionals this weekend! At 145 the 3rd and 5th place finishers at OVAC squared off in a rematch with Roger Kupfer coming out shining with a 9-2 victory over John Prokopakis. Also in action 3rd place finishers Tucker Brown and Wyatt O'neil both scored victories as did 7th place OVAC finisher Casey Hughes. Cameron is without the services of Joel O'Neil for the time being hopefully he'll be back for regionals! Til Next time Wrestle hard and wrestle with RESPECT!
