Comments: The Marshall County rivalry continued last night with John Marshall gaining back bragging rights with a very contested 36-27 decision. The 135 pound and 160 pound match were the most exciting matches of the dual. At 135 Muldrew escaped with a fall in the late 3rd period against Hughes a freshman. He pinned him late with a 2-0 lead. There were a few close calls that could have given Hughes the lead earlier in the match perhaps swinging the tide. At 160 George slipped past Brown in a very good match. George hit a takedown late in the match and held off Brown to claim the decision. Yet it would have been interesting to see George wrestle Kupfer but he was bumped at the last minute to 160 which proved to be a very good move. Wyatt O'Neil's return saw him post a 4-0 victory over John Wells. Chris Taylor probably wrestled the smartest match of the night for John Marshall as he held off a very strong Curt Meyer at 189 by a 7-2 count. He was bumped also to wrestle Meyer. Last night the difference seemed to be Coach Ed West making a few moves in the lineup.
