Comments: The Cabell County Middle school championship was won by Milton Middle. Several wrestlers were missing from all teams due to the recent Flu outbreak. The Milton Panthers placed 12 wrestlers in the finals and had five individual county champs. Runner-up Cammack had 3 individual champs.

Special congratulations to Barboursville's Chris Gibbs who finished the season undefeated including a WSAZ championship as a 7th grader Milton's Ryan Frazier also broke the school record for most falls in a season with 22. This record had been in place since 1994.
