- Directions to school: Travel south on I-77. Take the exit for
Concord University. Turn left after the off ramp. Take the next left
after the entry ramp. Go about 1/4 mile, school is on the right.
Pikeview High School's wrestling program began its first year in
2008-09.
For 2009-10, the program will be led by first-year coach James "Tony"
Barbery. Coach Barbery is a former wrestler: Competed at Menchville
High School in Virginia graduating in 1975 the year before they won the
AAA State title (1976); Wrestled at Concord University, on the last
team the college fielded before discontinuing the sport.
This will be a building year for PikeView's second year program.
