The 2004-05 season marked the return of wrestling to Poca High. The Dots had not participated in wrestling in 23 years. Poca did have wrestling from 1972 until 1982 under Coach Dale Eggleton. During that time Poca had several state tournament qualifiers and placers. In 1976 Frank Workman became the only Dot to win a championship in wrestling, competing in the 167 lb class.
