We are 25 miles east of I-77 (Ripley) via Rt. 33, and approx. 30 miles north of I-79 (Clendenin Exit) via Rt. 119.

From the east, we are 40 miles west of Glenville on Rt. 33, or about 30 minutes from I-79 Amma on Rt. 36

Our school is near the junction of Rt. 33/ Rt. 14. At red light at Go-Mart, turn onto Rt. 14 N. Approx. 2 blocks ahead, turn right on Bowman St.(tight turn for bus). The school is just ahead a couple more blocks, in the former Spencer High School building.

The Spencer Middle School wrestling program consists of 6th thru 8th grade students. The Yellow Jackets are a member of the Central WV Athletic Conference. We are the only wrestling feeder school for Roane County High School. The Roane Lightning Wrestling Club is our local youth club, feeding our middle school program.

Returning from last year's program are: Dylan Cottrell, Luke Hottle, Jacob Summers, and Sam Whiting. Welcome additions to the team this year are: John Ash, Matt Bell, Sean Blosser, Michael Branard, Sam Lawson, Jacob Maldonado, Michael McCumbers, Shay Parrish, Nathan Reynolds, and Colby Whiting.
