Directions to school: Take interstate 64 west to Ironton, Ohio exit. Take left at exit. Follow signs to the VA Hospital. Go to a four way stop sign turn left. Go over bridge and go about 2 miles and school is on the left hand side.

Spring Valley High School in Wayne County opened its doors for its first year in the 1998-99 term. The Timberwolves are coached by Bruce Niday (formerly with Huntington Vinson), assisted by Tony Morales. It was formed as a consolidation of Huntington Vinson, Buffalo Wayne, and Ceredo-Kenova High Schools.

There remain three High Schools in Wayne County, namely Spring Valley, Wayne Senior High, and Tolsia.
