URBANA, Ohio – The West Liberty University wrestling team rolled to its fourth dual meet win in the last five outings here Friday night with a convincing 38-10 romp past Urbana on Senior Night at the Grimes Center.

Coach Mitch Smith's Hilltoppers jumped out to a 16-0 lead after the first three weight classes and never looked back in breezing past the host Blue Knights.

Following a forfeit win for Corey Secrist at 125 pounds, Steven Slack opened up a 10-0 first-period lead in his 133-pound match against Alec Fulwider before eventually closing up shop with a third-period fall.

DeAndre Reed followed that up by pitching a 10-0 shutout against Urbana's Jared Ford at 141 and the Black and Gold were on their way.

Urbana tried to stop the bleeding with three straight wins in the middle weights, closing the gap to 16-10 heading into the final four matches but the Hilltoppers stepped on the gas.

Chance Morgan turned the momentum back in the visitors' favor with a first-period fall against David Gilbert at 174 and Isaiah Myers followed up with an entertaining 18-9 major decision against Connor Dixon at 184.

West Liberty's Logan Kemp backed up his No. 5 national ranking at 197 pounds with a first-period fall against Trevor Hankins and freshman 285-pounder Francesco Borsellino brought down the curtain on an impressive WLU victory with the Hilltoppers' third first-period fall in the final four matches.

The Black and Gold return home to host Ohio Valley University on Wednesday February 6. First match is set for 6 p.m. at the ASRC.
