The Bob Zide Rumble hosted by Williamstown will be Saturday January 21, 2023 this year. This will be run as a 16 man bracket individual tournament. The losers in the round of 16 will be eliminated, but will be put into a round robin tournament in the middle school gym. The confirmed teams list at this point is....

OUTSTANDING!!! Now this is what I call major progress for the entire state of West Virginia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The BZR Team has expressed the meaning of wrestling and charged the hill!!!
We now have another BIG TOURNAMENT! I recall seasons when the Bob Zide was a depleted joke of a waste of time. Now it is projected to be a 17 to 18 team tournament. With Forfeits, I recommend to go to 20+ teams.
Furthermore, here is what we have to look forward to:
January 13/14: Winner's Choice
January 21: The New and Improved, Locked and Loaded BZR!!!!
January 27/28: W-S-A-Z

Actually 9 teams. Wirt was listed twice.
I see how the confusion happened. Wirt has the Lowe Twins and they have everybody seeing double.
Additional trivia: This tournament along with AA/A Region 4 and the WSAZ will bring wrestling fans the Highs and Lowes of wrestling.
Sissonville's High Brothers and Wirt's Lowe brothers.
